About PESSAT Exam
PESSAT stands for People Educational Society Scholastic Aptitude Test. The PES University conducts the national level PESSAT entrance exam for getting admissions to different B.Tech courses offered by the university. The students seeking admission to all the B.Tech courses in PES university are required to qualify the PESSAT exam. The students are shortlisted based on their scores in the PESSAT exam. The PESSAT exam is conducted every year.

PESSAT Exam pattern
The PESSAT Exam paper consists of questions from subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English that are divided into 4 sections. The questions are of MCQs and are of PUC or 10+2 level. The question paper consists of 180 questions and time is 180 minutes

Application Procedures
The students have to apply for the PESSAT exam through online mode only. The students have to fill the online application form without any mistakes. The steps to fill the application form is mentioned below
- The students should first choose application for B.Tech course after checking their eligibility requirements for the course
- The students should fill all details mentioned the online application form carefully without any mistakes online because once the form is submitted it cannot be changed or modified
- After the application form is filled, the students are required to pay exam fees through credit/debit card or net banking and submit the application form
- The students have to choose their desired slots according to their convenience and book the slots for the same to take PESSAT Exam
- Once the fee is paid the students will receive their hall tickets with all the details on their registered email Ids
- The students have to give the Computer Based Online Exams at the designated exam centres mentioned in their hall tickets
- The PES university will publish the answer keys and also the list of selected students for interview sessions
Admission Process
- The selected students have to attend the interview sessions in the PES university premises on the specified dates and time
- The students who qualify the interview have to pay the 1st instalment fees within the specified dates to confirm their seats
- After the fees is paid the seats are confirmed for the students
