M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology was established in 1994 by educationalist and visionary Late Dr. M S Ramaiah offering both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The college is approved by AICTE and UGC and is approved by the Government of Karnataka.
