The BMS Institute of Technology and Management was established in the year 2002 by the BMS Educational Trust. The history of BMS institutions dates back to the year 1946 with the establishment of the first private engineering college in the country, BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE), by late Sri B.M Sreenivasaiah. He was a philanthropist and a great visionary who realised the necessity of technical education even before the country got independence. He was honoured by the Maharaja of Mysore with the title “Dharma Prakasha Raja Karya Prasaktha” for his extraordinary service in the field of education. The legacy he once began is being upheld with the same zeal by his inheritors and they continue to cherish his vision and ideals.

The BMS institute of Technology and Management is located in Avalahalli near Yelahanka. The college is surrounded by shopping malls and shopping complexes. The college is well located in the serene and residential suburb of Bangalore. The college is well connected by road, rail and metro.

Eligibility

The students who have completed their PUC or 10+2 from science background from recognised board and students who have qualified any of the competitive exams such as K-CET/COMED-K/JEE are eligible to apply for B.Tech/BE courses in BMS Institute of Technology and Management
